Ludamus: Problem Solving

Booklet and CD. Ludamus, from the Latin ‘we play’ or ‘let’s play’ consist of sets of picture cards designed initially for adults to play with children and, when they are ready, for small groups of children to play together.

Children are required to arrange pictures in a certain order following a set of clues. Suggestions for activities are included to ensure that children have an understanding of the positional language that is needed.

The games can be used with children in Foundation and KS1 and may also be particularly useful for older children with English as an additional language.

The CD includes PDFs of introductory activities, picture cards, clue cards and grids.
