Counting on Leroy

How the publisher describes it:

“Maths nerd Leroy Stone finds himself on a TV quiz by accident! Can his maths facts save the day? Award-winning authors bring the subject to life in this fresh, funny story. Barrington Stoke specialises in books for reluctant, struggling and dyslexic readers.”

Review by Caitlin Gallagher

In brief:

I think teachers will enjoy the story and children that like maths.

“The problems start when they are entered for a quiz”

This story is about what happens when two boys, one called Leroy Stone and another called Lee Roystone, get mixed up by their head teacher.

Leroy Stone is good at all subjects but Leroy Stone is only good at numbers. The problems start when they are entered for a quiz.

I think teachers will enjoy the story and children that like maths.
