Building motivation and attainment in mathematics

Free maths teacher meetings 2008

The Clothworker's Foundation

Building motivation and attainment in mathematics’ is a national series of free maths teacher meetings, offering you new and stimulating ideas and resources that can be adapted for pupils of all ages and abilities.

By attending, you will:

Legal and General

You will examine ‘tried and tested’ ways of motivating the most and least able pupils, assess the suitability of the resources for your pupils and share knowledge and expertise through collaboration with colleagues.

The agenda has been researched with teachers, to ensure that the content is timely and informative - all of the events are based on teacher feedback and recommendations, meeting teacher requirements and offering access to new ideas and materials.

Maths materials will be available for you to try out during breaks, and you’ll receive a free activity pack with copies of all resources to take back to the classroom.

These events are offered free to all maths teachers due to the generous support of Legal & General and the Clothworkers’ Foundation.

Each delegate will receive a free activity pack, including copies of all resources tried at the event.
