ATM Conference 2011

Share an idea with colleagues at conference

The ATM Easter Conference in 2011 is being held at Telford and is a celebration of the work of Caleb Gattegno one of the founders of ATM. It should be no surprise that his ideas and influence has as much relevance to mathematics education today as they ever did.

Every year new people ask to run sessions at our conferences and without exception they are glad they did. They go away with their idea expanded, their workshop having inspired or their technique developed and shared.

Have you got an idea to share?

Would you like to run a session, have you a good idea for a session for this conference in Telford.

The Conference Team would like to hear from anyone who would like to run a session at our Annual Conference at University of Wolverhampton Telford Campus on 18-21 Apr 2011.

Running a session is as simple as sharing a view, sharing a technique or sharing an idea related to mathematics in the clasroom. You do not have to be a professional presenter just willing to share a topic with fellow mathematics educators. Pre-school, Foundation, Primary, Secondary or research related. It can be serious or fun.

If you think you might have an idea or topic to share with friendly colleagues please email us to find out more. The person to contact is Karen Kirkley our Conference Organiser.

We would like to have all offers and enquiries by email to conference@atm.org.uk before 20 Sep 2010 (do not just reply to this email - it comes from a no-reply address: start a new email addressed to conference@atm.org.uk).

You need not commit yourself at this stage - so why not find out more? Email Karen Kirkley here. (Do not just reply to this email - it comes from a no-reply address: start a new email addressed to conference@atm.org.uk).
